Future scientists and engineers are on their way to state and international competitions to demonstrate their science aptitude, thanks to volunteers from organizations and businesses including Minnesota Power. The Northeast Minnesota Regional Science Fair sparks the kind of creativity and inventiveness that may help solve world problems.
MP Hydro Operations Supervisor Nora Rosemore has helped with the event for the last few years.
“It’s an amazing day, these kids from grade school through high school age are doing incredible things and it wouldn’t happen were it not for the volunteers in this area. I was just so proud that Minnesota Power had such a good showing,” she said.
