Minnesota Power is once again pleased to offer teachers from our service area the opportunity to attend a totally revamped seminar about the Upper Midwest's lignite coal industry.

The purpose of MMEW is to promote awareness of the positive contribution that mineral resources make to the Minnesota way of life, by providing information and materials for teachers related to mineral resources, including geology, exploration, development, extraction, uses, reclamation, conservation and economics.
