Speedpay Recurring Payment Plan (RPP)

Important RPP Information:
If you enroll using a checking, savings or money market account, there is NO charge.

Payment with credit, debit or ATM cards incurs a charge of $3.50 each month.

Monthly payments are the only option available when setting up a RPP.

Setting up your RPP schedule:

1. Select "Recurring Payment Plan".
    Enter your Minnesota Power account #.
    Enter the first 3 letters of the primary account     holder's last name or the business name.
    Select “Submit”.

2. Select “Agree” to The Western Union
Speedpay Terms & Conditions to continue.

3. Select “Schedule recurring payment.”
Select “Continue”.

4. Enter bank routing number and account number

5. Select “Pick date” (Refers to monthly payment date)
From the calendar select your monthly withdrawal date.  We suggest the due date of your bill or up to 8 days after.

6. Select “Never” to "Payment stop?".
    Enter e-mail to receive notifications about scheduled payments.
    Select “Save recurring schedule” after verifying information.

Changing your RPP schedule:

1. Changing Bank Account Number/email address/stop date
Select “View/manage recurring schedule”.
Select “Edit” and enter in your new account information.

2. Changing Withdrawal Date
    Select “View/manage recurring schedule”
    Select “Edit”
    Select “Use saved Account Info”
    Select “Continue”
    Find the Withdrawal Date field and select "Pick a date"
    Select date from the drop down calendar
    Select “Continue”
        If this error message appears “Start date can not be before today’s date”,
        change your start date to the same day but a month in the future,
        e.g. 8-26-09 to 9-26-09.
    Review the next page for accuracy
    Select “Save Recurring Schedule”
    Review Recurring Schedule Confirmation page
    Sign Out

Speedpay One-time Payment

Important One-time Payment Information:
There will be a $3.50 fee for a one time payment for all payment methods.

1. Select "One time payment".

2.   Enter your Minnesota Power account #.
      Enter the first 3 letters of the primary account       holder's last name or the business name.
      Select “Submit”.

3. Select “Agree” to The Western Union
Speedpay Terms & Conditions to continue.

To make a one time payment by checking, savings, or money market:

1. Select “One time payment.”
    Enter date for payment under “Payment Scheduled Date”.
    Enter payment amount.
    Select payment method of Checking, Savings or Money Market.
    Enter your banking information.
    Select "Continue".

2. Select “Make Payment” after verifying information.

3. Print payment confirmation page as your receipt.

To make a one time payment by ATM/Credit/Debit Card:

1. Select “One time ATM/Debit or Credit Card Payment”.
    Enter the card billing address.
    Enter date for payment under “Payment Scheduled Date”.
    Enter payment amount.
    Enter card number, expiration date, and CVV code.
    Select "Continue".

2. Select “Make Payment" after verifying information.

3. Print payment confirmation page as your receipt.
