UMD Stores Express on the University of Minnesota Duluth campus and Minnesota Power (MP) are sponsoring the third annual “A Brighter UMD Energy Event." By offering a variety of ENERGY STAR® lighting products at special prices provided by Minnesota Power. University students, faculty, staff, and the surrounding community have the opportunity to purchase these energy efficient lamps and CFL bulbs to save energy and money and make their contribution to enhancing the environment.
Not only will you save $2–$20 per CFL bulb and lamp, the energy you save in using these products will support the University-wide “Adding Up to Zero” initiative.
The products will be for sale at the UMD Stores Express and other store locations throughout the year. The UMD Stores Express is open to the public. Open hours are Monday–Friday from 8am–4pm.
How Do I Participate:
- No special coupon or rebate form is required. As an MP customer you qualify for this special pricing.
- Simply pick out the energy efficient lighting products you want, take them to the checkout and purchase them at the special price, then take them home, plug them in, and start saving energy.
