Right Light, Right Location, Right Performance

Find the right light for the right location
with the right performance.

Have a plan before you go
shopping for light bulbs.

Here are some things to keep in mind:

  1. The room to light and the purpose of the lighting

  2. Amount of brightness you desire (Lumens)

  3. Quantity of the light—color and temperature (Kelvins)

  4. Sustainability of colors in a room (CRI)

  5. Distribution of the light:
omni-directional or non-directional—best for area lighting (CFLs or Halogens)
       uni-directional—best for task lighting (LEDs)

  6. The True Cost of a Light Bulb
