How do I get my $100 Rebate for replacing a standard PSC Fan Motor with a high efficiency ECM in my existing Forced Air Furnace or Heat Pump (qualifying GSHP or furnace integrated ASHP)?

It's as easy as 1-2-3 ...

1. Contact a participating ECM replacement contractor. He or she will visit your home and check your forced air furnace or heat pump to determine if a replacement ECM is a good fit for your existing heating and cooling system. The contractor will then size the ECM to meet the system requirements. In most cases, a furnace less than 10 years old will benefit from a replacement ECM from an energy savings and comfort perspective.



2. The contractor will properly install the qualifying replacement ECM and complete the essential paperwork for you to qualify for the $100 rebate. Available from participating ECM replacement contractors. These utilities are participating in this rebate offer.



3. Receive your $100 rebate in 6–8 weeks and enjoy the energy savings and comfort benefits of a high-efficiency ECM . Note: This bonus special does not apply to new or existing furnaces or heat pumps with ECMs. Limit one ECM rebate per home. See note below for payback and cost information.

Note: We recommend talking with a participating contractor to determine if a replacement ECM is the "right" application for your existing furnace or heat pump and to determine the costs and payback vs. standard PSC motor options.** If you have a service contract on your heating system, we recommend consulting your service provider before making any changes.
