Wind Power Request for Proposals
Minnesota Power is seeking proposals from outside entities wishing to provide a portion of its future renewable electric power requirements. The RFP is specifically seeking up to 100 megawatts of wind generation that is deliverable to Minnesota Power's service territory prior to the expiration of the Federal Production Tax Credit on December 31, 2012. Minnesota Power also intends to consider building its own renewable resource solution to meet its customers' needs. Proposals will be accepted by Minnesota Power through January 5, 2011.
