2024 Rate Proposal
Minnesota Power has reached a settlement agreement, subject to MPUC approval, on its 2024 electric rate proposal with the Minnesota Department of Commerce, Minnesota Attorney General’s Office and Large Power Intervenors.

Administrative Law Judge Kimberly Middendorf has scheduled public hearings so that customers may have an opportunity to present their views regarding Minnesota Power’s recently filed retail rate case (MPUC Docket No. E015/GR-23-155). Any Minnesota Power customer or other person may attend or provide comments at the hearings. You are invited to comment on the adequacy and quality of Minnesota Power’s service, the level of rates or other related matters. You do not need to be represented by an attorney.

Free bus transportation to Hermantown hearing
A Voyageur school bus is scheduled to arrive at the Duluth Transportation Center (parking on Michigan Street – not pulling into the center) at 1:30 p.m. and depart at 1:40 p.m. for the AAD Shrine Event Center in Hermantown on May 21. There will be a sign in the bus indicating it is going to the Shrine Event Center public hearing.

The MPUC welcomes your comments on the requested rate increase
A comment is a statement of your opinion about any issue that the MPUC is making a decision on in a docket. Your comments will be part of the case record and are public information that can be read by anyone. Please do not include any personal information that you do not want to be public.
You can submit comments through May 30, 2024. Comments received after the comment period closes may or may not be considered in the MPUC’s final decision.
